MY REGRET !!!!

Daddy’s life had taken a drastic change lately.........

Daddy is very sad to inform that daddy will not get to see much of Keith boy anymore. All can be said is, mommy had remained the same person, the reason daddy chose to leave your side.......... again!!!!! YES, AGAIN!!!!!! DADDY CHOSE TO LEAVE.....

Daddy’s guilt is Keith boy is the one being affected by our adult problem. Daddy’s heart is indeed very heavy when daddy saw Keith boy. Keith boy kept holding onto daddy’s hand, and pulling daddy to go with Keith boy, as things were before. Sadly, it is not……. I am really sorry to my precious beloved boy.

Keith, Daddy is really sorry that daddy cannot be there to accompany Keith boy to play or to go window shopping as we have before.

The court order that was finalized had ordered, actually that condition was what your mommy had demanded for our divorce, that for daddy to only see Keith boy fortnightly at a specific day and specific time only, your mommy or a representative has to be present, mind you this condition also applies to Ah Ku or Grandma, as per requested by your mommy although not stated in the decree.

Daddy hopes that Keith boy will not see that your Daddy as bad-mouthing mommy. Daddy does hope that Keith boy is going to be raised up well and mommy will see the light of the need for both of us to see each other.

As money had always been a concern and your daddy used to exist in this world only as a “money-making tool”, daddy has been busy with work and mommy had indeed made it very hard for daddy to see Keith boy.

Daddy had always loved Keith boy and will always do. Please understand that daddy had never intended to abandon Keith boy in anyway. Daddy is very sorry that daddy and mommy's problem had caused Keith boy not to have a normal family. Daddy had tried very hard to make good of the whole situation but always ends up with the same result and problems.

If Keith boy ever needed anything, just give daddy a call. For now, daddy will just have to bear with the pain, living without seeing Keith, until Keith is much older and can decide for ownself, because of a very selfish act.

Now daddy just hopes that there won’t be any mind poisoning, happening to Keith boy. Daddy does agree that daddy’s decision to move on with daddy’s life has indeed affected Keith boy’s life. But Daddy do hope that Keith boy would realise that we each are given a choice and we decide it all on what our heart tells us to. When love is dead, please understand that the heart is not once broken (a single crack), it is already in pieces.

This blog is daddy’s only way of letting Keith boy to find out daddy’s part of the truth. Daddy will leave it to Keith boy to find the truth for own self.

I'm back

First of all, I am pleased to announce that this blog site is now going to be back to normal. For those who still frequent my blog, my apologies for my absence for so long. Hopefully I will be back for good this time.

The following are Keith’s development updates:
- Since end of last year, we have managed to wean him off his pacifier.
- Early this year, he has been potty trained and was diaper-less during the day.
- It has been 2 weeks now he has been totally off diapers, even during his sleep.
- He is no longer asking for his late night or early morning milk.
- He is now alright if we leave him in the public play place without having any adults around.
- He is beginning to show signs of socializing with kids.
- We are yet to send him to any nursery/learning school. We plan to do that next year, still deciding Fungates or QDees (Elaine feels that she want to send him to QDees because she saw that they have more cute little girls his age admitted there)
- He is still an Ultraman fanatic, even singing the theme song but I have managed to get him interested in Barney, Pingu and Pokemon. To my surprise, he is able to recite names ,like Pokemon, Pikachu, Meowth, Balbasaur and Onix
- He spends less time in front of the television now and rather cycles his tricycle in the house and going to the playground near my house.
- He is able to sit on the playground swing without any assistance, guidance nor care and he is even swinging by himself.
- He astonished me when he demonstrated so much independence when he steadily climbed the spiral stairs of the playhouse all on his own.
- A few days ago, Keith just got his buttock scratched by the comb of the escalator. I will write that on another post soon.

In the past, I have gotten third party feedbacks that there were some irritated people whom felt that I have been a show-off. Mind you, there is no need for me to do that because this blog is meant to keep track of my son’s development and not a contest. If you feel irritated, please feel free to feedback to me personally or comment. If you won’t then please choose to ignore my blog because I really failed to understand how an update on my son’s development will actually offend anyone.

This is an update on me.
- It is agreed between Elaine and I that we will try our best to be good parents to Keith and we had both forgiven each other for our past. In other words, it is useless for some people whom are trying to break us up again because there is nothing to break now.
o Occasionally she will get strange calls and visit by stranger telling her the “truth” about me. Well, we are both too busy with our lives now and we couldn’t be bothered by all these. A word of advice to the nuisance, the truth will reveal itself eventually; repent before it is too late. The reason why Elaine and I have nothing to fear is because we have both repented and confessed our mistakes and wrongdoings, have you? We were able to forgive each other and ourselves, can you?
- Close to half year ago, I got robbed at knife point, I have lost my waist pouch. Although I got scratched in the face and cut on my wrist, luckily Elaine was unhurt and Keith was not around at that time.

- I am now working in a company affiliated with Italian, Chinese and Taiwanese principals. The job requires me to travel extensively locally and South East Asia, China, Taiwan and Middle East.
- My job has been rather interesting because it involves a lot of technical knowledge in a field less ventured and I have been lucky because I have been able to handle my boss’s “tough” customers well and they even treated me very friendly after getting to know me. Much to my boss’s surprise we even became very good friends.
- Close to 2 months ago, my car was stolen when I went to attend a charity event in Pahang with my colleagues and boss, not only have I lost my personal belongings inside the car, I have also lost my certificates and testimonials. My boss is now providing me with a company car.
- My boss is bringing me to church and FGB meetings. In fact with all the bad luck events happening to me, I am really grateful that he saw those as a challenge and not seeing me as a black sheep.
- Lately I just got a really great job offer, which is offering me almost the same to my salary, minus the un-necessary entertainments so I am deeply considering it. My boss told me he will let me go, if he sees the Offer Letter.

Our thanks to Jazzmint for her kind support to both of us

Keith 2nd Birthday

I am very sorry for not being able to update my blog as often as I like now. Life is indeed very hard especially when you have to work things out from scratch without much help and support. Luckily I found it lately with much understanding.

I know that I have been absent from my blog for over 2 months now. I am taking this opportunity to start writing again whenever I can find the time to. My sincerest apologies to all that have hopped over to my blog only to be disappointed with the same old posting.
It was Keith's birthday last week and I manage to spend almost the whole day with him. (Well, I am glad that I can almost see him almost on a weekly basis and he is still as attached to me)

That day was not really an eventful day but it has been a very tiring day for all of us, including the Birthday boy. Elaine wanted to get cupcakes from Cupcake Chic so they bought two to try and sadly they were not to our liking, with Keith being the only one wanting to eat one cupcake and smashing the sweeter one. Guess the cupcakes were not to our liking.

This is how Keith eats his cup cake

After the cupcake we decided to go into the Curve because it was raining heavily and I have parked my car in the basement parking of Ikea. While walking towards the entrance, Keith saw the candy shop and immediately he helped himself to pick the candy :P We can really see that he indeed enjoyed himself with his lollipop candy although he cannot finish it.

He even sat himself on a bench to enjoy his lollipop.

We allowed him to have 2 rides on the mini rides then we headed to Ikea and had a little walk. Keith would as usual play with all the toys there and also the slide

Right after that, we decided to go to Jelly Q to get a jelly instead. Everybody decided to go for the steamboat opposite of the confectionery shop because we were all so hungry.

So we also let Keith have his jelly cake there too

What gave me the scare is him touching the top of the candles right after he blew it

I bought him a balloon, which he had used to repeatedly hit my sister on the head with, as well along with the gifts he got from us. I gave him a Swarovski Crystal Pig (for keeping) with a fake W910 display phone, my mom gave him a small golden piggie pendant and he also received a Jumbo-size Barney from a very good friend of my sister and I.

That did not conclude the day, we went to the Food Foundry to get a Mille Crepe Cake for all the adults and headed to a small restaurant in Taman Desa for our dinner before sending Elaine and Keith home. As usual Keith would whine when he sees me leave but I am glad in a way that Elaine and I are trying to work things out in our own ways.

Sunday, November 30, 2008

This week have been a very expensive week for me. I have bought 2 case of Enfagrow A+ in Isetan which is retailing at RM74.90. (there is 6 tins in a case)

Before that I have went to the e-Toys warehouse sales to buy toys for Keith and a birthday present for Nicole too.

Since Keith has always been fascinated to get onto the driver seat so I got him this

This one is definitely better than those MatchBox car toys

A bus with alphabets and phonics. To him this is another car toy.

This is the most expensive one, costing RM100, not sure if he likes this one or is he going to use the teacher as a joystick

Got him a table drawing board to get him interested in writing

And lastly this standing drawing board is for Nicole but now I got to figure out how to send this one back to her.

I have also bought a Vtech Floating Boat and got a free RC Helicopter from their lucky draw.

I guess from next few months I will have to be really thrifty and to spend as little as possible. I might have to even skip some of the things that I really needed, like getting a new pair of spectacles to replace my 3 years old glasses.

The revelation

It is high time I reveal it to all since my relationship is already beyond any help. I will refer back to my earlier post on 2nd June 2008 (Bad Day!)

I do not want to write this first part down but I really needed to remind myself of this incident to I will do it but I would not want to go into too much details, rather just vaguely mention it because I do not want to hurt anyone's feeling. I'll just mentioned the person as "A". I have always tried my very best in doing things to please "A" that I can, yet "A" is never seems happy. Everytime when things like this happened, the whole situation would looks as though I am always given the right to choose but I make the choice that is not in "A" favour then I am bound to get it badly..... mentally and physically too.... talk about abuse!!! (Doesn't this makes you think our of beloved country?)

I was just trying to teach "A" a lesson because I never liked being ordered and being bossed around (nobody does!) When I made my choice not offer my help to "A" because I wanted "A" to know what it takes for me to do the job. "A" tried to get the job done and was really unhappy about it. In the end when I tried to let "A" know that I faces the same helplessness when I am ordered to do the same job, I got battered!!!! and battered badly too!!!! Sigh! So much for a freedom of choice!!!!

Sad to say tht the A in the quote refers to Elaine, and when I say battered, she had slapped me so hard that my glasses flew off and punched me in the chest with all her might...... For those who might see this as a minor thing, she did this in the restaurant during business hours when it is half filled with people and also right in front of my mother. She kept punching me until my mother has to come over to stop her.

It is not that I cannot defend myself but I was afraid that my retaliation will cause her injury so I have to bear it. Instead of confronting her and make matter worse, I opted to run out of the restaurant and seeing her being so violent, I took Keith along with me. I was still being very patient and controlled then. After a few minutes, she chased after me like a mad woman, wailing and all, I still walk on ignoring her. Then she confronted me in front of Citrus Park and snatched Keith away from me. During the commotion, Keith was unhappy about her shouting at me, so he cried and I have to let go of him so that she would stop struggling. I hated it when she always uses Keith to threaten me.

I walked on leaving her and she walk back to the restaurant with Keith. I do not wish to go into detail of what she shouted, all I can say is, it is not nice things :( We argued but I kept my temper very well that day and avoided hitting her when she keep trying to coax me to...... I chose to walk away.

I was in dire need of a friend to talk to that day but I didn't call anyone up. I was really lucky that my mom and sis has helped me out that evening. I will stop here for now so that I can take my mind of it all for now.

My new handphone

I have bought myself a new handphone lately because my old Nokia has been bugging me with quite a number of problems. I have many customers complaining to me that they cannot call me when my phone is actually switched on with full signal bar. Rubbing salt onto my wound, surprisingly Maxis doesn't SMS me back about my missed calls too.

When I am on the line with a customer, I keep getting dropped calls. Initially I thought all this problem was from Maxis but then I tried to use an old handphone and it worked fine without any problem. I wanted to continue using the line with that phone but Elaine wanted to use that phone instead. I ended up having to get a new phone.

After much looking around and many rounds of trips to Low Yat and Sg Wang, in the end I have decided to get myself a Sony Ericsson G900

Although the phone that I am buying is already past the promotion period, I still got the free SE Bluetooth headset as well as the 2GB M2 card although it is no longer stated on the box :D

I really liked the phone, especially the touchscreen and best of all the response time is rather fast compared to my N73ME. As for the N73ME, I am passing it over to my mom because she has always bugged me that my sister's Samsung phone is too soft for her. Hope she can bear with the slow respond time of the N73.

Life goes on again

Starting on a new job is indeed very hard when you have to really juggle between work and private life. I just hope that everyone will have a little more patience with me and my blog. I have been feeling rather guilty because I have to take some time off to settle down my things. The only hint that I can crop right now is I will try my very best to post up the latest happenings.

I would also like to take this opportunity to inform all that I guess it is time that I turn this into my own personal blog. As there might not be any turn to the events that has happened and what is to come is unavoidable. To those who know what I meant, please keep it all to yourself. I only have myself to blame for what that had happened.

Life goes on

Some of you might have known this (especially those in Facebook) but I guess it is time that I do a small announcement here. I have already left the restaurant and right now Elaine and her family is running it.

Life goes on no matter what and I have just started on my new job as a negotiator in the real estate. Right now my job is to get more listing and to gather as much info as I can from all parties involved. I am very grateful that I have joined a very supportive company with many people whom are more than willing to help me in my job, which is a rare in this line.

I am very sorry that I have made this "father writing about his family, especially his son" blog into my own personal life blog but I do hope that I will be able to do some, if not more, of what I have started out this blog for.

For those whom are curious about my answer,

"Yes, there is no turning back to what is about to happen and I am willing to accept all the consequences"

I am really thankful to have supportive friends during this period of time and as I have promised to you all, I am now standing up for myself after such a very long period of time of darkness.

Blog break

I know I have not been blogging for a while now and I did not even do Keith's development for his 18 months old. My sincerest apologies to him!

I'll be on a blog break for a while because I really needed the time to clear up my personal life and stuffs too..... Something major is about to be announced and those in the know, please do keep it to yourselves about it. I would really appreciate it. It is a very sad thing to announce but I really guess this is the only thing that I can opt for right now.

Runaway Maids

Today is a horrible day to do this post..... Most who have my MSN would know that I am a late night bird. Last night, as usual I went to sleep at 5am But I only get to sleep until 8am. The reason for the short sleep was because my mom came rushing into our room telling us that the maids has gone missing (my sister's and mine)

Grandma has made the discovery when she was going to the bathroom. After looking thru our personal stuffs we found that we are missing quite a sum of money from Elaine's pouch (our own money and "loose change" money we keep for the cash register) We also found a half bottle of milk on the table in the hall along with our keys and their passports, which was taken from our pouch as well.

What really made us totally unprepared for this is because my sister's maid is due for home in October and mine is in December this year. my sister's maid even told my sister that she wanted to continue her employment and she requested that we send her back. We have promised her that we will allow her to go back for a month in January. We were really shock that they have decided to runaway and was even daring to steal money right under our nose. Elaine, Keith and I is sleeping in the room where the theft took place.

From my guess, she has used the opportunity to steal it when she came into our room at about 6 - 7am to feed Keith his morning milk. She only fed hin halfway thru because she did not want to force the whole bottle to Keith because he would normally starts to whine if he is given more than half a bottle. Since Elaine is a light sleeper, she is normally woken up by Keith's whining so I guess she took the caution ot that.

Despite a check with the guard house, they were unable to provide much information because ours is practically manned by foreigners too, my guess is probably Nepalese.

In my opinion, the reason for their daring act is probably due to the fact that they knew where I put their passports. Recently the government has required us, employers, to bring along their passport whenever we bring them out. It has really been an inconvenience, it would be better if we can have the immigration dept issued ID cards and have their passports kept in a safe place or even with the agency. According to the maid agency, the immigration dept has discontinued sending it out these recent years.

I have never liked the idea of having strangers, like maid, in my house because I have always felt uncomfortable with them and also thinks that there is a loss of privacy. FYI, I never spoke to my maids, they get their instructions from Elaine all the time. I am considered lucky because Keith is never attached to our maid and he never really quite liked her. Anyway the reason for us to get the maids is because we needed them to help Grandma to care for Keith (and Nicole, formerly) as well as Grandma herself too because she has been having problem with her legs and movement is rather limited lately and she had fainted once on us because of low blood pressure. Grandma herself is on High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol and Controlled Diabetes medication.

Sadly we don't have a big family so we have to resort to employing maids to help us out on out daily chores as well as taking care of our family so that we can spare more time on our business. The most depressing part of the day is losing the maid has sparked a few arguments in the family and I am being victimized all the time.

My thank for all the friends whom have given their advises, for all the concerns we have been given, for sharing with us their experiences and contacts for maid agencies, since most are closed on Sundays.

Keith's Twist, Feeding and my personal message for a friend

Recently Keith has been much more active than ever but sadly I don't quite have the energy to cope, since someone is not co-operating much. Anyway what caught my attention recently is his liking to dance to tunes. He would be twisting if he is sitting down, holding his hands up in the air and shaking them while twisting if he is standing up, jumping if someone is carrying him, do the rowing motion if someone is holding both his hands or twisting his shoulders if he is inside the car.

Dang! I should have taken part in Nuffnang Twister thingy with this.... Too bad Grandma had ordered us not to give Keith any publicity of those competition kind!!! Funny thing is she is ok with the blog idea :P

I am really glad that Keith's wound had healed rather well and the scar is not that obvious. My thanks to all the advises that I got and the well-wishers too.

I have always been wanting to do this but everytime I could not as I needed one hand to hold the bottle. This time I have had the camera ready before his feeding starts. Keith takes 3 of his milk feeding like this everyday!!! Once in the early morning, another in the afternoon/evening and lastly at around midnight.

Recently many unhappy things had happened in my life. I am not using this opportunity to rant about it but instead I am taking this to thank someone really special. This is not the first time I have chatted with a stranger since I have always find it easier to talk that way. You know the "I dunno anyone from your circle of friends and you dunno anyone in mine". I am really glad that I found this special person because we have had many things in common, especially with many relating to our personal lives. We were able to match up with each others going online timing too.

Online friends never really cared on how you look, who you are, rich or not, nor is height a problem! The way true friends really are..... Not that I don't appreciate all my other friends but the trauma would have really driven me insane if not for this person.....
I really to say this:

"Thank you for being there for me.... I really appreciate your support, advice, time, sharing and trust. Most of all, you made me feel that I am not on my own"

Bad Day!

Yesterday was a very painful day for me and Keith. There was two major things that had happened and also would really have a major impact on my life.

The second major thing really breaks our hearts...... Last night I came to the restaurant on my sister's car. Keith was in the backseat with me, while Grandma sits in front. After my sister parked her car, I let Keith off the car and passed him to Grandma. I only let him go after Grandma have a good grip on him. Then I turned back to the car to take Keith's bag. I turned around and I saw Keith struggling to free himself of her grip. I guess he suddenly caught himself caught off balance when he manage to shrug off Grandma's hand and almost fell down onto the tar road face down.

Luckily Grandma caught him in time and he looked at me and cried out loud. So I picked him up and he kept hitting his chest too (the way of him telling me that he is scared) As we enter the restaurant, Elaine looked shocked and kept asking what is that on his face. To our horror, we saw this

A 3 almost 4 inches red wound running from his eyebrow to his hair line diagonally across his forehead.

It is really sad indeed. I guess now our boy would now look like one of those characters off the Chinese fighting Man Hua 漫画 comic

A day in Penang

On Tuesday morning we went back to Penang for quite a few reasons for the single trip. We went there in my sister's car and on the trip was Elaine, Grandma, my sister, Keith and I. Our main purpose there is to:

  1. Take grandma for her checkup in GH.
  2. To spend a day with Nicole.
  3. To pay our respect to my stepfather.
We started the journey at 3 am with me driving all the way to Penang and we reached Juru at about 6.30 am. Problem is we have to spend almost 2 hours there waiting for Nicole despite my sister calling her dad at 5.30 am (he works the night shift)
We drove to Penang via the Penang Bridge which is really jammed up for no particular reason. I really wonder why the cars keep jamming up on a straight road!!! Upon reaching the GH, it took less than 2 hours for Grandma to complete her checkup, since she has my cousin, Melinda and her husband, Johnny to take her monthly medicine for her. my sister took over the driver's place from GH. Initilally Nicole was rather quiet, probably because she just woke up after a while she was her talkative self as soon as we were in GH.

Right after that we went for some Dim Sum for our breakfast, which we have to skip this morning because Grandma was supposed to fast as she has to have her blood sample taken on this visit of hers. Next stop was at my uncle's place in Penang Street, the place where I grew up. My aunt was very hospitable and she even gave us very tasty porridge for Keith and Nicole. Elaine and Grandma learnt from her how to make the porridge as well as how to keep it warm all day instead of having to reheat it up (avoiding the creation of wind (foong) in the process) She also gave us 2 laptop backpacks (just what I intended to buy) and a few Dry-Comfort T-Shirts.

After that we went for some sight-seeing and we couldn't really agree on where to go to for our next meal. In the end I decided to stop by the tea house in Pulau Tikus, with their very quiet ambiance, I took the opportunity to take some pictures.

Nicole while she was enjoying the "Tea Egg"

I guess she is beginning to feed herself now and she still likes soup a lot because she almost finished a whole bowl of it by herself.

I manage to have my hands on the camera because......

But someone was being a handful

Because she was starting to explore the place

Then we bought some Boon's aniseed water ("pak yeok sui") which was on offer RM17 for 2 bottles at the Boon's Pharmacy in Pulau Tikus. After buying some prayers stuffs we drove to the Berapit Cemetery to visit my stepfather. I guess we were really unprepared to carry out our Ching Ming this year because we have missed out on a lot of things due to lack of communication on what is needed. Lesson learnt here and I really need to prepare all those things personally. Anyway I took back the driver's seat from the cemetery onwards. Anyway to those needing to know, Nicole and Keith had stayed in the car with Grandma when we offered our prayers.

After that we drove around town a bit and drove to Melinda's office to drop my mum's medical card for her. We could not decide where to go to for our dinner and in the end we went to Alma for some Thai food.

Nicole insisted in sitting next to Keith and kept trying to pull his baby chair towards her to be keep the space between them to the minimum.

Keith was very happy to see his cousin, Nicole

Nicole seems to have turned very cool and posing with her peace sign too

After that we went to the McDonald's in AutoCity for my sister to meet up with Nicole's dad and we started our journey back to KL from there. We didn't say goodbye to Nicole but we promised to see her another time which we hope would be very soon.

I took a short nap while my sister drove to Sg Perak R&R for petrol, which I took the driver seat from there on. We were all being very quiet during the trip because I knew that we were all being very sadden having to leave Nicole in there. We were rather shocked because Nicole informed us of her misfortunate that her aunt ,whom babysits her, had hit her on the butt before for a few times and also her dad hardly takes her out. Despite the fact that they are officially divorced, we were all very grateful that he had earlier tended to my stepdad's grave a few days before our visit.

P/S- On purpose I have to leave the adults out of the pictures because we looked exactly like pandas that day!!!!

Mari lah, mari. Pergi berundi!!!!

Today is the day Elaine and I have done our duty as a responsible citizen and also to practice my right for the first time. We didn't do it 4 years ago because we were too busy with our work. I kept telling Elaine that we have to cast our vote for our own future as well as Keith's

Initially we wanted to wake up earlier to cast our vote but we didn't because we have had a rather tiring night. Then we decided to forgo casting our votes because we know that the lady is sure to win with massive majority but in the end we chose to do it separately when we have less people in our restaurant, since the polling station is very close to our restaurant.

Whom did we vote? You will know the answer very easily by going to youtube and search for "Parliament Malaysia". I showed my sis and she was rather shocked but in the end she tried to take it lightly and she had a very good laugh.

The lady really won with a massive majority of 36K, I think she has the most number of votes difference in majority in our 12th GE. (I could be wrong)
I have been stuck with the internet trying to get the latest results because everyone has been asking me for the result as I am the only one with the laptop. I should say that we are lucky that we have malaysiakini because the reports from TheStar and NST took forever (Reason is very simple la...!)

This is the first time our opposition is taking 5 states (DUN) and even denying BN its two-third in Parliament!!!! I thing the punishment is already running its course, especially with many BIG GUNS down, or it that planned? Anyway I really wonder how could the opposition change things, since voters have given them what they have been trying to gain!!!

I kept asking myself this, if the Opposition (calling themselves Barisan Rakyat) fail to live up to their promise, who else can we turn to?????

My New Domain

Just would like to shout a small announcement. After much consultation, I have finally decided to settle down with the domain tutiger.net, I have used godaddy.com to get the domain and of course I did use a coupon code to check out which helped me to lower the price of the domain. I only needed to pay a total of $16.38 for two years. The thing I liked about this deal is I paid them out of my PayPal account. So as you all would have known, the blog would still continue on being hosted by blogspot because I didn't get any hosting deal, it is still a rather expensive affair for me.

Honestly I have been eyeing for the (dot)com for quite a while and I knew from WhoIs that the domain would be expiring by the 27th Feb 2008 so I decided to wait to see if the owner would renew the domain. I seems to have a feeling that the owner could possibly be giving up on the domain because the domain is still unused until now nor is it parked to any hosting site.

I truly appreciate the advise I got from Chin Nee and Jazzmint because they have really taught me a lot on the domain stuffs. Anyway I should have done my homework earlier. Luckily I have also found a very nice blogpost to regarding the matter - How to snatch an expiring domain by Mike Davidson. After reading the post, I don't think I would have the patience to wait any further so I registered for the (dot)net instead, as what the two nice ladies have recommended to me earlier. See I should have listened to them earlier!!

Let's see what happens to the (dot)com after 75 days (May 12th).

My Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday and I guess I just got a year older already :P Remember how anxious we all were to grow up when we were young and now I guess we are all trying to slow the aging process :D

This year was really special because of many reasons:

  • Manwai's birthday fall on the same day as Keith's lunar birthday :D (so officially Keith is 2 years old, according to the Chinese Lunar la)
  • Jasmine came over to our restaurant with her handsome son, Vyktore and her friend Cheryl and it was really kind of her to share her birthday cake with me. (Our birthdays was the reason we started chatting with each other via ICQ and ours are a day apart.)
  • I got my very first birthday cake from my mum and sister.

Surprisingly when we were all singing "Happy Birthday" song and chowing down the food prepared/ordered, someone was so tired that he slept thru the whole thing but he slept with his eyes partially opened.

Next on my list is preparing for Keith's birthday. We will just a small celebration among family members because we can only do it on Tuesday (our day off). I can only wish that I can invite a few friends and kids too to make it merrier but I guess we will do that a few more years from now when I can take time off on weekends :D

I am stuck without a laptop

On Thursday I was hit by real bad luck that someone spilled hot chocolate on my one and a half year old laptop. Those of you whom have known me would have known that this is not the first time I have liquid spilled on my lappie, as you all know where I work, but the last time it was really minor spilled that can be easily be wiped down.

This time the spill was really horrible, that when the technician came on Friday, he told me that he needed to replace the motherboard along with the touch pad, keyboard and the combo drive. He even advised me not to switch it on because he was afraid that the board would short-circuit. So I will have to wait for all the parts to arrive and let him fix it on Monday. Guess I will be stuck without a laptop at work.

So you all won't be seeing me until Wednesday, I guess but I would be online when I get home.

The good news is I am really lucky that I was the "kiase" type and have bought their Complete Cover so accidental damages are covered.

Surprise pictures

Normally my usual stunt in to take Keith's pictures is to take a number of snap (as many as possible) of his different expressions and in different positions so that I can choose the best shot later and not regretting that I have not done more shots earlier. I was surprised that my missed shot actually manage to capture Keith's 7th teeth! He now has 4 on the top and 3 on the bottom.

Whenever Keith is around and I got busy with orders I would pass the camera to Elaine for her to take pictures she likes. She never fail to surprise me with more surprise pictures like the one below...... Keith is posing with his maternal uncle, Jason and maternal grandma. Look what are her hands doing behind Keith!!!!!

Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!!!!!!

Happy 50th Birthday to Malaysia

Today is the day that the whole Malaysia will be celebrating its 50 years of Independence, which I doubt any of you would not have known :)

I meant to do this post yesterday but my sis told me that she needed to use my PC (which is in my room) so I have to move it to the living room for her.
Hmm..... let's move away from the 1957 story first, since I think RTM1 would be covering that today :P and will skip the present for the moment. While thinking back to what I was doing 10 & 20 years ago brought back floods of memories...... :D

In 1987, I attended my very first parade, we were the invited marching school band for the opening ceremony of the Piala Bapa Malaysia. Although this just a normal band outing but it meant a lot to me because for this first outing of mine, I actually faced resistance at home, not allowing me to attend it, until my "kai ma" (godmother, who also my eldest maternal aunty) gave me her consent. That year I also attended my first Merdeka parade.
This marks the beginning of me gaining my independence/freedom.

In 1997, this year was rather meaningful to me because it was the year I got to know a very cute, pretty, petite-size, bubbly and understanding girl, in fact there was never a dull moment with her........ (wondering who she was? make a guess la)

If you are asking me if she is still available then I am really sorry lor but I think most of you would have guessed it right. Yes, it was the year I got to know Elaine!
This marks the beginning of me losing part of my independence/freedom.
This is the year I got my first credit card from MBf. This would mark the start of my credit card problems too.

Ten years later, this year, our baby is born, making this year just as memorable too.
This marks the end of my independence/freedom.
This is also the year I won the LCD TV from the contest by MBf. And this marks my credit card problem owings is now even more than ever. Elaine and her family was rather shocked when I told them that I have known them 10 years already.

Now I wonder how will my independence status be in my next 10 & 20 years
