How should we wear his cap?

Last week Elaine and I took Keith to a supermarket and we found a rather cute cap. But we could not agree on how to wear the cap. Elaine insisted in wearing the cap the visor in front, but I am of the opinion that the angle of the visor was a little too low so I think it would look better if it is worn with the visor on the back.

In the end, we did not end up buying the cap but one thing that both of us can agree on is that the cap is really cute, indeed. It features a cat (on the front) fishing a fish (on the back)

Look how he stuffed his 2 fingers in his mouth. This is becoming his normal behavior and this is the same case with everything he is able to grab hold of too.

The other day Elaine wanted to watch some movies but the subtitles were a little too small for her and she told me to look for her short-sighted glasses for her. Those glasses were gathering dust inside the glove compartment of my car because Elaine rarely used them and the last time she used them were close 2 years ago. Sure la don't use much because her correction is only 100+ only ma :P

Then someone whom was going along with me wanted to see what's inside the glasses box, so I opened it and she wanted to try it on.


I do realise that almost all of my relatives were wearing glasses. On Elaine's side, it is only Aunty May whom doesn't need glasses. That pretty much says for Keith's possibility :(

Lately we were rather busy in the restaurant so I am not able to do much updates. I have always wanted to do those automatic posts, which will automatically post the earlier prepared post at a specific time, but blogspot is not able to support it so I have to do "on the spot" posts lo. I have tried saving it as a draft but normally getting online to publish the post is also a problem. Any ideas/suggestions anyone?

Swimming Suit???!

Elaine and I were wondering, should we be buying Keith some swimming trunks/suit? According to the astrologers, Keith is supposed to stay off water, very much like his mum and dad!!! Yup, both of us were not too good swimmers ourselves :(

Last Tuesday we did some window shopping and Elaine found a small-sized swimming brief. We let Keith lie on a styrofoam swimming assist board and we just put the brief on top of him to see if the size is right. In the meantime, he got himself busy trying to tear off the price display.




Elaine asked me if we should let Keith learn to swim. I suggest that we should let Keith try it out for himself if he wanted to go in the baby pool or not, since there is one available within our condominium, which Nicole loved going to. And since we pay for the maintenance!!! we might as well make full use of the facility!!!! Hated it when non-residents (they are not even friends of any resident, perhaps they were ex-residents) just comes in to use the swimming pool

Tentang "Tiga Huruf P"

Saya nak cakap sikit pasal "Tiga Huruf P" jugak. Dah lama saya tak kerap pigi "Tiga Huruf P" untuk cari duit la. Walaupun kekadang nampak manyak peluang tapi kebanyakan saya tak kualify untuk ambik la, jadi saya sudah manyak frust la dan masuk pulak yang lain jalan la. Hari ini pulak saya masuk dan terkejut kerana "Tiga Huruf P" sudah boleh ambik 3 peluang dan ternampak manyak peluang untuk ambik pulak.... tetapi kena cari post untuk sisip tengah "Tiga Huruf P" punya la.

Yang lagi teruk adalah PU2B sudah luluskan blog saya!!!! Hahaha..... harap-harap saya tidak akan buat blog saya penuh dengan post yang tidak berkenaan.

Cari sikit makan ma!!! Harap bertimbang rasa la!!! Apa mau bikin semua barang mau naik harga tapi gaji sama jugak!

Sleeping Out

Lately it is getting harder to get Keith to sleep at home because he always wants to play and attention. He is easily being disturbed of his sleep at the slightlest sound. As soon as he finds out that Elaine and I are at home he would want us to carry him and not wanna sleep. I guess he is afraid that we would go out and leave him at home. (Seems like he wanna go kai-kai)

Yesterday he slept soundly on Elaine's chest after we went to Popular to get a baby care books for Elaine and some alphabet reading books for Keith. On the second trip to buy my sis's return bus ticket, he fell asleep as soon as we got into the car. Last night not only did he slept throughout the journey, he even slept through the noisy pasar malam, even when we walk by those CD peddlers with their music blasting away!!!! On Monday when I took grandma and Nicole for the doctor's visit, he easily fell asleep on grandma's chest when I took them to the restaurant.

Keith is 7 months old

Well today marks the day he was born 7 months ago. Indeed he have developed his own patterns and style within this time.

He likes to

• command people with his screams and shout, which will either subsides if no one is around or will becomes his cries if he is not carried.
• would act as a remote when you pick him up. He would face a particular direction if he wanted you to move in that direction. He would lean forward if you do not move and would laugh when you do.
• smiles at you, especially when you are scolding him :P
• play with Nicole, a small and simple gesture of hers is enough to make him smile and laugh.
• look at cars moving on the streets, he seems rather interested in cars.
• to turn round and round on the bed.
• to grab everything and for now he is especially interested in the camera.
• to take pictures, rather co-operative when I am taking his pictures, unless when he is in a really bad mood!
• to do acrobatic acts, by licking and biting on his toes.
  

He is beginning to

• move (swimming like motion) when he turned around. He is yet unable to crawl la but I guess if this goes on he will very soon.
• demand things and command things to be done his way.
  
• have 4 teeth but the 2 top ones are rather out of place (He already have 2 bottom central incisor but the funny thing is his top 2 are his left central incisor and his left lateral incisor, instead of 2 central incisor!!!)

He dislikes

• being scolded, even when an adult, close to him, is scolding another child and not him! I guess he felt threatened.
• being left alone in a room.
• putting him down on the bed, unless you play with him or let him play with your fingers. (Given the opportunity he will bite on them of course)
  

I can't really finish this up but I guess I have pretty much said what I have observed so far.

Two more down!!!!

While Keith is recovering, Nicole and Grandma was down with the similar sickness yesterday. Grandma was very reluctant to see the doctor so I have no choice other than giving her a bottle of Vitamin C. The only ones whom have not have it is Grandma's maid and myself, but I am already starting to get sore throat (only when I get up in the morning)

I wonder how much longer will this be passing around in the family! My MIL was really scared of getting it because she immediately decline to help me to drive Grandma and Nicole to see the doctor. But anyway my last call to Grandma, she sounded much better already, but I wonder if she did take any of the Vitamins I have given her.

Keith has recovered 90%

Right now he is almost fully recovered but still bothered with his phlegm and occasional cough to clear the phlegm. He doesn't seems to be as excited as before when he sees me, probably I am not taking him out for his occasional walk.

Whenever I carry him he would lean himself towards the door as usual but today he added verbal warnings too. When we walk towards the door he would be all excited and even smiles but as soon as you turn your around, he would whine and even wail his cry out loud :P

Since Keith is almost recovered, I took him and Nicole out for a walk in the garden and I found this abandoned children playground and let Nicole play with it and also snapped some pictures of her hugging Keith
(I might wanna raise it to the attention of the management to repair and maintain it)


By the way, Nicole almost launched Keith down the slider, but we were careful and watchful when snapping these pics so nothing happened. Nicole is always very excited when I allowed her to hug Keith without assistance from us.

Recovering on the 5th day

Yesterday halfway thru working I went back home in the evening to get our bridal photos
for my BIL to make some comparisons with my SIL's and brochures, in preparation of his. Upon reaching home I found Keith in his better composure, lying on the matress and playing with grandma. As soon as he sees me, he started whining already..... it was so bad that he woke up Nicole whom was sleeping nearby. I carried him around the house while searching for my 2 albums.
Just before I leave home, I passed him back to grandma and managed to snap these pictures of him whining and struggling too


Today he is only bothered by an occasional cough which is still filled with quite a lot of phlegm. I think he is really tired and is still feeling not so well after the sickness because he hardly smile that much today. What surprises us is that he knows to spits the phlegms out.

Keith is sick for the fourth day

I am really not in the mood to snap any pictures because Keith's condition seems to have slightly worsen. We were all really troubled by his resistance in taking his medicine, we needed 3 people just to let him take his medicine. One to hold his hands, another to swing the rattle and hold the handphone (which will play the animated MV of Twinkle, twinkle little star and the third person to feed him with a spoon. He would be wailing and crying, which really breaks our heart seeing him in such pain.

Since last night he is starting to sneeze again and by this morning his running nose is back :( As his condition seems worsen, I find him whinier than before. Whenever I pick him up, he will give me the signs that he wanted to get out of the main door and go "kai-kai" but we can't do that because if we do I don't think his condition would improve.

The funny thing is whenever we are trying to give Keith his medicine, Nicole would come over and say, "Feed Nicole, Nicole take medicine..... Ah!!!" and opens her mouth wide!!! She seems to like taking medicina a lot, be it the paed's medicine or the herbal ones..... she likes them all (so unlike her mum!!!) But Keith is so like his mum, disliking medicine.
